Take part in a ground-breaking study on the use of learning strategies and receive a £5 Amazon voucher as a thank you

The College would like to help improve students’ ability to use effective learning strategies during self-study. However, we first need to find out which learning strategies students are using. To achieve this, Dr Luotong Hui, Research Associate in Higher Education, invites you (if you are aged 18 or over) to take part in a survey by answering questions which will take about 30 minutes to complete. Participating in this study will help you gain awareness of your own use of learning strategies and will contribute to the development of a university-wide training programme focused on improving self-regulated learning skills.

We are seeking a total of 300 participants for this study. If you are interested, please complete the questionnaire promptly. The survey will be closed once we have reached the 300-participant threshold. You are under no obligation to participate. Your comments and participation in the study will be kept secure and anonymous by Dr Hui.

If you decide to participate, you are still free to withdraw from the study without giving a reason up to one month after the submission of the questionnaire data, when the data will be anonymised.
