We are excited to announce that this year, Dundee Research and Academic Medicine Society (DRAMS) is once again collaborating with medical and dental schools from across the United Kingdom, making Discovering Research 2024 our own biggest national conference to date! We invite all undergraduate medical and dental students to participate in this exciting opportunity! This year’s theme is:
Driving Research, Accelerating Medical and Dental Success (‘The Catalyst of Change’)
WHAT EXACTLY DOES THIS EVENT ENTAIL?
Discovering Research is a fantastic opportunity for you to gain invaluable insight into the world of research; exploring previously conducted research as well as ongoing research projects! In addition, we will also be having talks from experts in their respective fields – making this the perfect opportunity to ‘discover research’!
HAVE YOU COMPLETED A PROJECT?
Have you done a piece of research but never found anywhere to present it? Look no further – because this conference is just the place for you to present your work and win amazing prizes! We welcome all sorts of projects and topics – including intercalated degrees (BMSc/ BSc), previous SSCs or SPSSCs, vacation scholarships, electives, audits – virtually any piece of research! All submissions will be judged by a panel of academic staff and the best ones will be invited to present in either the oral or poster categories! This will not only give you a chance to win amazing prizes but look GREAT on your CV! Those who are shortlisted for the oral and poster presentations will receive an ADDITIONAL CERTIFICATE to add to your portfolios.
