The Royal Society of Medicine Students’ Section is recruiting new council members from your university for the coming academic year.

By joining our committee, you will be part of one of the largest national medical student societies, which will provide you with research opportunities, and a gateway to applying to executive positions in the council, while representing your medical school. This role will involve organising national RSM events and conferences, partaking in weekly council meetings, liaising with your university, and promoting our events to your network. Along with these benefits, you will also receive a regional leadership certificate for your portfolio.

The process is competitive and starts with filling out the following application form: https://forms.gle/T5SF3X8JYTNuBMCb8. The form opens on the 19th of August (Monday) and the deadline for applications is the 1st of September (Sunday) at 11:59 pm.

If shortlisted, this will be followed by an interview process. Holding a valid RSM membership is required when you reach the interview stage.
