Earlier this month, ICSM Music Soc held its annual society Re-mingle for the second year in a row. It proved to be an extremely fun and successful night once again!
After a long Christmas break, there was lots to catch up on between society members, and so the night began with some chill conversations over food in Reynolds. The main event then started with Bands taking to the stage and delivering a killer set. Shout out to all the soloists and Team Bands who worked so hard in the lead up to the event – and most importantly, a congratulations to them because literally EVERYONE enjoyed the performance! If you’re reading this and think that playing/singing in a band is your kind of vibe, then come to Reynolds on Friday evenings and you could be part of something like this!
The evening then continued with some unplanned karaoke, where we (yes, I took part too) got up and sang (or screamed) our favourite songs. A very fitting end to the part of the night held at Reynolds Bar. After an evening filled with music, chatting and drinking, our allocated time in Reynolds came to an end – but the fun didn’t stop there! We went to Hop Poles in Hammersmith to play some card games (particularly the game Spoons), where the competition was intense, yet the fun was unparalleled.
I would like to thank everyone who came along – your company made the night special! I’d also like to point out our next social is at TenPin Acton on Thursday 30th January for some society bowling before we continue working towards our upcoming concerts on the 1st and 8th March for Choir and Orchestra respectively, as well as Jazz Band’s set at Fashion Show on 4th March. If you would like to see what we are about and get involved in ICSM Music, please feel free to reach out to me with any questions!
Thank you for reading and see you soon!
