Invitation email: Invitation to participate in Gen AI Project – £15 e-voucher

Dear students,  

Do you have some level of experience working with Gen AI tools such as ChatGPT? If so, we would like to invite you to participate in an important research project that explores undergraduate students’ views around ethical use of AI and their recommendations for how to design authentic assessments using AI.  

  

We would be grateful if you would consider taking part by sharing your views of being an Imperial student in a 60-90 minute focus group (with between 4-6 students). You would not need to prepare anything beforehand, and you are free to express any views or opinions you wish. Participation is voluntary and you do not have to answer any questions that you don’t want to. You have the right to withdraw from the study at any point and do not have to give a reason for doing so. 

  

If you choose to participate, we would like to offer a £15 Amazon e-voucher as a token of our appreciation for your time and contribution to the project (this will be emailed to you after the focus group discussion).  

  

Please be assured that all information collected will be treated confidentially and you will not be disadvantaged in any way whether you decide to take part or not.
