We are excited to announce the inaugural Learning Well Programme, a university-wide initiative open to all Imperial students – regardless of discipline, faculty, year group, or campus. This event is designed to empower students with sustainable study strategies that positively support both academic learning and mental wellbeing. It aims to enhance all students’ learning experiences – it’s for those who want to refine and strengthen their approaches to learning just as much as it’s for those who may feel like they are struggling.
The programme offers a broad range of interactive and participatory sessions where students can:
- Develop their understanding of the important link between study strategies and mental wellbeing based on evidence from the research literature and our own empirical data, and by challenging assumptions, myths and misconceptions;
- Explore practices that support positive wellbeing alongside effective and efficient academic learning;
- Consider practical steps they can take to craft their own path to learning well here at Imperial.
The Learning Well Programme aligns with our commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive environment where students can actively explore, discuss, and try wellbeing and study strategies that they can integrate into their academic journey.
